OLDER BUCKS
Older bucks are bucks whose daughters have been tested on farms. If official data are known for at least 80 daughters and the breeding qualities of a buck are excellent, then a buck can become official a proven buck.

OLDER GRasshill BUCKS
Below you can find the selection of Older bucks from GrassHill Farm LTD.
The available DNA information on scrapie resistance and High Casein is shown for all bucks.
- The orange production “4mother (kg)” gives the information about the nearest 4 dam average. This is based on each doe’s highest single lactation result (not the average of the results for all her 305 day lactations). The reason we use the results from the best 305 lactation for each doe instead of the averaging all her lactations, is because this to us is a better indicator of each doe’s true genetic potential.
- SM (kg) shows the production of the sire’s dam (highest single lactation result).
- DM (kg) shows the production of the mother of the buck (highest single lactation result).
If you click on the picture of the buck, you will see the complete pedigree of the buck including pictures and production.
Young BUCKS
Young bucks are strictly selected bucks, without daughter information, from whom we have high expectations. These bucks have been selected on their interesting pedigree and the outstanding performances of their parents in terms of production, conformation and longevity.
